Station Taxis at Sunderland Freshers 2016
We have had a great time welcoming all the new students to College and University over the past few weeks.
Earlier in September we visited Sunderland College’s Bede Campus and their brand new City Campus to welcome new and returning students.
We made sure we had a good look around at the facilities at Sunderland College and WOW, they really do have it all! At their new state-of-the-art £29m City Campus, situated in the Park Lane area of the City Centre – they have a spa, restaurant, advanced engineering and manufacturing facilities, a flight cabin and construction facilities, just to name a few. We were very impressed!
We also met the students from the University of Sunderland’s Freshers Fayre later in September, where a lot of new students were from outside of the area and even abroad.
As at all Freshers Fayre’s we had plenty freebies to giveaway as well as our ‘Beat The Buzzer’ game to play, where students had to get a handle with a metal loop from one end of the taxi to the other without touching the wire. It’s harder than it sounds, and after over one thousand attempts we only had a few students who managed to beat it. All were entered into prize draws to win £50 vouchers from Station Taxis and our winners were delighted to claim their prize!
