Cyclists raise thousands in memory of Sunderland dad

A charity bike ride took place to raise money for the British Heart Foundation and Sunderland Colliery care in memory of Antony Outhwaite, a former Station Taxis driver.

The event was organised by mum of three, Jayne Outhwaite to raise awareness and money in her husband’s memory.

Station Taxis drivers Duncan Small and Billy Ford were amongst the sixty-five cyclists took part in 52 mile route, which took them from Nenthead in Cumbria, to Silksworth Sports Complex in Sunderland.
As a sponsor, we were pleased to be part of the event and would like to say a massive well done to all of the riders!
